Psychologists, Psychotherapists & Counsellors for Online Sessions & Home Visits – London & Greater London (Self-Employed, Flexible)
Medelit, a top-rated private home and online healthcare provider in London, is looking for experienced psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors to join its home visiting and online clinical team.
Requirements:
- Psychologists: HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling or Health) and Chartered Membership of the BPS.
- Psychotherapists and counsellors: Accredited membership of a PSA-accredited professional body (BACP, UKCP, BABCP or NCPS).
- At least 2 years of post-qualification client practice in the UK, and the right to work in the UK.
- The confidence to assess clients on your own, agree a treatment plan and follow it through, both online and in clients' homes.
- Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to arrange it).
- An Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months (or willingness to obtain one), as the role involves home visits.
The role is ideal for practitioners in private practice, the NHS, clinics or counselling services who want to add flexible, well-paid independent work and a steady flow of private clients without spending on marketing.
Details:
- You set your own fees. Clients choose their practitioner by profile, approach and fee.
- You decide when, where and how you work. Online video sessions, home visits in the London areas you cover, or both. Give availability only when it suits you. No contracts, no minimum hours.
- Home visits are upon referral. Online sessions are open to all clients.
- We handle the admin. Our booking team arranges appointments around your availability, sends you your schedule in advance and does all the billing. Online sessions run on our own video platform, with nothing to install for you or the client.
- The work is varied. Adults, couples and families, from busy professionals to older adults. Cases include anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, bereavement, relationship difficulties, trauma and life transitions. Sessions take place in clients' homes and by video.
- The clients are high quality. Medelit is a multidisciplinary, internationally known home healthcare company serving private and corporate clients across England. Your clients have direct access to our GPs, specialists and allied health professionals when they need them.
This is an independent, self-employed position. The more availability you give, the more clients we send you.
Practitioners based elsewhere in the UK may apply for online sessions only.
